I don’t like writing about these domestic abuse cases. It feels icky sometimes. But I also imagine the victims don’t like getting beat up by celebrities and athletes who casually return to work without facing any real consequences—so I guess I’ll talk about this new Tyreek Hill fight.
Wednesday afternoon, local Sunny Isles Beach police responded to an “assault in progress”, called in by Alesia Vaccaro, the mother of Keeta Hill, Tyreek Hill’s wife. When police arrived, Vaccaro said she feared for her daughter’s life—describing Tyreek as “very aggressive and impulsive”.
According to G-Ma, Tyreek smashed his wife’s computer, grabbed their child and walked over to the balcony before she made the 9-1-1 call.
Apparently, Tyreek and his wife had been seeing a couple’s therapist and Tyreek exploded when his wife suggested that he wasn’t involved enough in his daughter’s life—causing Tyreek to freak out, yell, smash shit and grab his daughter and leave.
Despite the misleading headline, no one was hit in the Hill household—and honestly, that’s probably thanks to Keeta Hill’s mom calling the police before things escalated too far—but from what was detailed, I have no reason to believe Tyreek just screams and breaks expensive things without putting his hands on his wife—especially considering his history of hitting people
In 2014, Tyreek Hill, as the police described it, “ragdolled” his pregnant girlfriend, choked her and repeatedly punched her in the stomach—where the baby was.
In 2019, Hill was accused of breaking his 3-year-old son’s arm. When the police couldn’t find enough evidence to know for sure who the perpetrator of the crime was, Hill’s fiance leaked an audio recording where the super happy and in love couple discussed the child’s broken arm. The son’s mother was heard saying “he’s afraid of you” to which Tyreek appropriately responded, “You should be too, bitch”.
Very cool guy.
That case was thrown out when the full audio came out and it essentially came down to a he-said/she-said situation—the case in almost every single domestic dispute. I want to reiterate that last part for anyone who believes Tyreek is 100% innocent because charges were dropped. Charges get dropped when the police can’t prove something that happened behind closed doors between two people who have different stories about what happened. Charges being dropped is in no way an indication of one’s innocence.
Anyway, who cares because Tyreek would continue hitting people—including beating up a local marina employee in 2023 and breaking the leg of a big ol blonde Instagram model, like, the type of woman that prevents me from opening up my Instagram explore page in public. Snapped her leg. No reason why.
Again, I don’t find joy in listing off a guy’s assault record but that’s sort of my problem. I shouldn’t be thinking about this man at all but Tyreek Hill was one of the Top 10 highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL last season. He’s one of the most popular athletes in the league. And he’s an absolute dickhead.
The league is flooded with talented wide receivers who aren’t t speeding out of the practice facility’s parking lot to go intimidate their spouses. How many opportunities does Tyreek Hill get before we move on from a guy who Kansas City easily replaced? Let’s go through all of the playoff wins the Miami Dolphins have with Tyreek.

Tyreek Hill doesn’t even have the self-control to delay his outbursts until his wife’s mom isn’t around. He’s comfortable mistreating that woman in front of her mother. They’re all used to it. How many times has Keeta Hill had to say “no, no, it’s okay. Tyreek just gets a little mad sometimes” after being screamed at in front of other people?
Personally, I’d love to see what Tyreek’s life would look like if the NFL was taken away from him, due to his own actions. Let’s see what women want to be around the maniac with the short fuse when he isn’t walking into local restaurants and leaving with his bill on the house—when he can’t take her on a private jet setting vacay to an exotic villa on a whim.
I don’t need anyone to be perfect. We all do dumb shit. But for a decade straight, I’ve read stories about Tyreek Hill terrorizing the people in his life who trust him the most.
Society has evolved past the need for Tyreek Hill.
