Bryce Young Is About To End Daniel Jones’s Career

Plus, 3 Bold Predictions For NFL Week 10.

bryce young

The Carolina Panthers are a local high school JV team accidentally placed on an NFL schedule so it’s understandable that by Week 10, no one is really interested in talking about this team but Bryce Young quietly won a start against the New Orleans Saints last week.

And he’s not as ass as he looked at the beginning of the year. Look at this 18-yard strike to Jalen Coker across the middle:

Week 2, Bryce would’ve sidearmed that football into the back of an offensive lineman’s helmet.

Young had a big 11-yard pass for the 3rd down conversation that put the ball on New Orlean’s 24-yard line, setting up the eventual touchdown strike to Xavier Leggette in the back of the endzone.

Converting 3rd down and scoring touchdowns in the red zone—look at Bryce Young being an NFL quarterback all of a sudden.

Even Bryce’s one interception was a perfectly thrown ball directly into the awaiting arms of Xavier Leggette, who then immediately has his wallet stolen by Shemar Jean-Charles.

At one point, I thought Bryce Young was the worst player in NFL history and now he looks as good as any middle of the road starter.

Benching your young first-round quarterbacks when they’re developing obvious bad habits and look flabbergasted by opposing NFL defenses is a good thing.

Bryce Young came back last week looking exponentially better than he did before watching Andy Dalton. Colts fans can relax. Anthony Richardson will be just fine.

Bryce had his best passer rating as a starter this season and now, he and the Carolina Panthers have a home game in Munich, Germany against a New York Giants team that’s in a 4-game freefall to the bottom of the standings.

The Giants have 4 straight wins without a lead for the first time since 2019, Daniel Jones’s rookie season.

Prior to Jones, the Giants hadn’t had 4 straight games without a lead since 2000. Spider-Man was web-slinging through the Twin Towers.

Daniel Jones treats the endzone the way I treat rollercoaster. I’m not going anywhere near em.

This game will turn Daniel Jones into the bonafide worst QB in the NFL.

With Deshaun Watson getting his ass beat by karma and Bryce Young outplaying him in the same game, Daniel Jones is about to be the face of mediocrity. This may be his final NFL start.

Fortunately, this game will be at 9am on a TV network I do not pay for so I won’t have to see my beloved Giants kick two field goals and awkwardly lose in front of the German hoes.

This one’s going to hurt. Let’s keep it moving and make some other bold predictions for NFL Week 10.

1. Drake Maye gets Matt Eberflus fired.

The last rookie QB battle we got was an absolute banger, ending in a dramatic Jayden Daniels successful hail mary while bears cornerback, Tyrique Stevenson, hit the Macarena before politely handing that hail mary pass to Noah Brown.

Drake Maye vs. Caleb Williams will be a movie.

Anytime Caleb drops back, you can expect pure chaos as he scrambles for his life, dipping and dodging pass rushers, while DJ Moore rolls his eyes and plays on his phone.

Drake Maye is so gifted that the Patriots could not in good faith continue to call themselves a professional football organization while Maye sat on the bench for Jacoby Brissett.

Drake Maye is the first rookie QB since the merger with 5+ passing touchdowns and 200+ rushing yards in his first 5 career NFL games. He is a one-man offensive engine transforming the Patriots into a watchable operation instead of whatever the hell they were with Brissett.

Coaches are being fired left and right. Matt Eberflus, this is your tape.

The Bears have a 19.2% third down conversion rate over the last two weeks. Worst in the league.

Drake Maye coming to town and looking like an All-Pro caliber QB will make everyone side-eye Matt Eberflus when Caleb Williams only completes like, 49% of his passes for 211 yards while getting powerbombed into the turf all game long.

The youth will devour the old. Drake Maye is devouring Matt Eberflus.

2. Patrick Mahomes and DeAndre Hopkins are sending a message.

Here’s a list of all the quarterbacks who’ve thrown a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins:

  • Deshaun Watson
  • Kyler Murray
  • Will Levis
  • TJ Yates
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick
  • Brian Hoyer
  • Brock Osweiler
  • Ryan Mallett
  • Brandon Weeden
  • Tom Savage
  • Case Keenum
  • Ryan Tannehill
  • Matt Schaub

AND NOW PATRICK MAHOMES.

Among active players, DeAndre Hopkins has as more first-team All-Pro selections than Christian McCaffrey, Julio Jones, George Kittle, Lamar Jackson AND PATRICK MAHOMES.

12 years in the NFL. 2 postseason wins. Ever.

The Kansas City Chiefs are about to open the playbook for Hopkins who is finally playing in a functional offense with the greatest quarterback of all time. The Chiefs will put the Denver Broncos back in their place on Sunday.

3. Justin Herbert joins the MVP discussion

Coming into a season with a brand new head coach installing a new philosophy while desperately trying to have a catch with anyone with hands—and after suffering another annoying lagging leg injury at the beginning of the season— Justin Herbert is getting loose out here, boy.

Herbert has 3 straight games with 250+ passing yards and back-to-back games with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. This psychopath only has 1 interception on the season. 8 fewer than Patrick Mahomes.

Quick shout out to my boy, Quentin Johnston, the 2nd year receiver who went from bookmarking CDL registration websites to becoming a dynamic, go-to option for Herbert.

Johnston has twice as many touchdowns this year as last year, in a fraction of the playing time.

Also have no idea how we’re 10 weeks into the season and the Tennesee Titans have the best passing defense in the NFL. They fired Mike Vrabel. Lost Shane Bowen to the Giants sideline. Didn’t matter. They are the best defense in the league.

The NFL is dumb sometimes.
