In the first 4 games of his NFL career, Malik Nabers immediately established himself as the best wide receiver in the league—capable of singlehandedly dominating a game despite catching balls from a guy who rarely throws with his eyes open and will stumble over his own cleats at least once a game.
Until he suffered a brutal concussion in Week 4 that not only forced him to miss the next week’s game against the Seahawks but it looks like he’s out once again for the Giants Week 6 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
It sucks to have Nabers on the sidelines but the Giants proved they could win without him last week and after seeing Tua Tagovailoa seize up on the field once a season, I have to applaud New York for being extra cautious and not allowing this young man to go out there and destroy his brain for a team that’ll be luck to win 6 games this season.
But Malik Nabers should be at home with ice packs tapped to his skull. Maybe even one of those neck braces to make sure he’s not turning his head too quickly.
He absolutely should not be at the Travis Scott concert.

When asked about Nabers’s cute little night at the Travis Scott show, Giants head coach Brian Daboll said he’ll “keep that in house”, whatever that means.
This is a HUGE problem for the Giants.
And not because injured players can’t enjoy nice, fun outings.
Nabers is 21 years old. He should be going out to shows, enjoying the fruits of his labor.
But NO ONE under contract with the New York Giants should be permitted to attend a Travis Scott concert, specifically.
You go to a Travis Scott show and there’s a 50% chance you end up carried into the back of an ambulance covered in Yeezy footprints after getting trampled during the Sicko Mode beat switch.
Seeing Travis Scott live should be prohibited just like skydiving, hang-gliding or riding a motorcycle. Whether you’re in concussion protocol or not, your contract should be voided for making these types of risky decisions.
I pray Nabers’s brain heals up so he can get back to making Daniel Jones look like he belongs in the NFL for the first time in his entire career.
