I have no idea if Davante Adams is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL but I do know we’ll never find out as long as he continues wearing a Las Vegas Raiders jersey.
More on this to come: A league source with knowledge of the situation confirmed that the @Raiders are growing open to the idea of trading Davante Adams. The source said the club has begun reaching out to teams to gauge interest in the veteran wide receiver.

1. Washington Commanders
After blowing out the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Washington Commanders might fuck around and end up with the No. 1 seed in the NFC. They’ve punted the ball only twice in 4 games as opposing defenses are helpless to stop Jayden Daniels from doing whatever he wants out there.
Now just imagine adding this guy to the mix:

Davante Adams has recorded 1,000+ receiving yards in 4 straight seasons. He’s grabbed 10+ touchdowns in 3 of the last 4 seasons. Add a 3-time All-Pro receiver into Kliff Kingsbury’s unstoppable Thailand offense and the 2024 Commanders could go down as the greatest offense in NFL history.
2. New York Jets
This is one is obvious. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams had their best seasons together and blah blah. We get it.
I’m not choosing the Jets because everyone will be happy and New York will march to the Super Bowl.
No, adding Davante Adams will accelerate the inevitable chaos when Adams arrives and this offense still can’t move the ball down the field.
Any time a camera pans to Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines, he looks like he’s a prisoner in his cell doing a bid. A lot of folks from California feel the same way when they step foot in New Jersey. I get it.
But Davante Adams being a deep threat won’t even matter with this inconsistent Jets offensive line.
The Robert Saleh/Nathanial Hackett dream team is pushing Rodgers closer and closer to retiring and finally starting that anti-vaccine podcast I know he cannot wait to launch. Davante Adams coming will make it obvious how bad this team is. Let’s make it happen.
3. Denver Broncos
You never want to trade your star player within the same division. Unless you want to punish that star player by sending him to a team with a rookie quarterback who just threw for 60 yards on Sunday.

4. New York Giants
A Malik Nabers-Wan’Dale Robinson-Davante Adams offense is STACKED. I love Darius Slayton. Been watching him for 6 years (too many). But if the Giants replaced all of Slayton’s backbreaking drops with Davante Adams breathtaking receptions then the entire vibe of this organization gets revitalized.
On Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys, with the best-looking pass protection Daniel Jones has ever had in his career, Jones finally had enough time in the pocket to show he’s, at best, a really good backup QB. Which is lightyears better than I thought he could be heading into this season.
With the Cowboys and Eagles playing like the NFL has a 162-game season and they’ll be fine by game 50, the NFC East is wide open.
Even if you think Daniel Jones sucks and the Giants should tank every game for a new QB, Malik Nabers is the best wide receiver on Earth right now. I’d love for him to pick the brain of a legend like Davante Adams instead of like, the couple times a year Victor Cruz stops by the facility for some Instagram content.
Man, Shedeur Sanders to Davante Adams is about to be a movie next year.
