I’m putting on my NFL GM hat. This is my tryout. I deserve to be in a front office.
But more importantly, I like chaos so let’s make up some random ass trades to make the league more interesting.
Here are 3 blockbuster 2024 NFL Draft trade ideas:
1. Minnesota Vikings trade no. 11 and no. 23 and WR N’Keal Henry to the New York Giants for no. 6 pick
I have seen enough Sam Darnold tape to know he is not good enough to be QB1. Sure, Minnesota gave him a 1-year $10 million contract this offseason and he can probably be a temporary bridge while the Vikings future QB waits behind him but that means Minnesota has to go out there and get their future QB.
At no. 6, the Giants have a lot of options.
The Cardinals and Chargers are the two spots ahead of them and neither of them will be selecting a quarterback so if Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye go 1-2-3 then JJ McCarthy is sitting at 6 and from everything I read, the Vikings are in love with JJ McCarthy and want to kiss him on the mouth.
Personally, I think JJ McCarthy stinks but he has strong ‘coach’s son’ energy so I get it.
It seems like New York is giving Daniel Jones one more shot to prove he can be their franchise QB so if they want to draft a QB, I’m all in on Michael Penix who will be available later. The Giants suck and they need more talented young players on their roster. Trade the 6 pick to a Vikings team one quarterback away from competing.
And fuck it, throw in N’Keal Henry too. The Giants might have the worst offensive talent in the entire NFL.
2. Las Vegas Raiders trade no. 13, no. 44 and 2025 first-round pick to Dallas Cowboys for QB Dak Prescott
So the Dallas Cowboys have two choices: they can keep running back the same Dak Prescott-led team every single year and being sent home in the playoffs every single year OR they can shake shit up and move on from the guy who thus far has been incapable of leading the Cowboys back to the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Antonio Pierce willed the Raiders to an 8-9 record last season but imagine how good this team would be if they had anyone else besides Aidan fucking O’Connell running their offense. Davante Adams is one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. Dak to Davante would have Las Vegas rocking. Get that city ready for the A’s.
Dak had a good run in Dallas but he hit a wall. Jordan Love and the Packers ran them off the field last year. It’s over. At this point, sign the divorce papers because you’re just going through the motions now.
3. Indianapolis Colts trade no. 15 pick, 2025 first-round pick and LT Bernhard Raimann to Tennesee Titans for no. 7 and WR Treylon Burks
I want Anthony Richardson to succeed so badly and if you’re not excited to see him play this season, here’s some footage to change your mind:

And in order for this man to succeed, he’s going to need more talent around him. If the Colts move up, they can select one of the top wide receivers. I don’t know if they need to trade their left tackle but I know the Titans are looking for one so that was to sweeten this fake deal I made up while eating a bacon, egg and cheese. I’m willing to change my mind on that part of the trade.
Also shout out Treylon Burks who was the MAN at Arkansas and uh, barely hanging onto his NFL career. You know what will revitalize a player’s career? Getting to play alongside a generational talent like Anthony Richardson.
