In the High Court at Hamilton today, Tiffani Sutcliffe today admitted shooting her best mate Rhys Gordon Williamson after a day-long drinking session that included drug use at their Seddon Rd, Hamilton, flat on May 31.
The group then took GHB – gamma-hydroxybutyrate, a class B controlled drug that enchances sex drive – before Sutcliffe, her girlfriend and Clegg went to a bedroom for a threesome.
Williamson then walked into the room holding the gun and, in a manner described by Sutcliffe as “playing around”, pointed the gun at her.
She took it from him and pointed it at him before asking if it was loaded and almost immediately pulling the trigger, as the pair stood 2m apart.
After being shot, Williamson replied “of course it’s loaded you stupid slut” before collapsing to the ground. He died shortly afterwards.

If you’ve read Deadseriousness before then you already know what my immediate reaction to this story is. Dating. Is. Hard. We all have our own specific sexual turn ons and sometimes our fetishes turn into accidental homicides. That’s just one of the many factors that make relationships so difficult.
I really hope Tiffani Sutcliffe doesn’t face jail time for this. Look, no one is responsible for what happens after a group of consenting adults pop GHB and get into gunplay. That’s like international waters. Everyone roofied each other. It’s not like it was slipped in someones drink unexpectedly. It was all fair in love and war.
I don’t want to victim blame but maybe my mans shouldn’t have pointed a gun at homegirl if he was going to let her disarm him so quickly and shoot him. Also “Of course it’s loaded you stupid slut” might be the greatest last words of all time. Of course, this is a tragedy and homicide is no laughing matter but OF COURSE ITS LOADED YOU STUPID SLUT. Put that on my gravestone, please.
