Should The New York Knicks Trade Enes Kanter To The Memphis Grizzlies For Zach Randolph?

I want to believe that Scott Perry and the ‘new’ Knicks front office is smart. I want to believe it so badly. They found Allonzo Trier and Mitchell Robinson in a haystack but they also cut Ron Baker so who knows what’s going on over there.

If they really want to prove to me that they are truly a better group of decision makers, then they’re going to have to make the most of all of the expiring contracts on the roster and using them to make up for Phil Jackson’s mistakes and line them up for a massive summer.

Enes Kanter and Zach Randolph are both on the final years of their deals with Kanter making $18 million and Z-Bo making $11 millon. Essentially, this deal would give Sacramento a backup center to add to their rotation and snatch rebounds while the Knicks would can get Kanter the fuuuck out of here since he keeps complaining about his lack of playing time and being an overall weirdo.

But it’s also being reported that their looking to add a third team into the mix which means the Knicks might be trying to finesse their way into adding Courtney Lee and/or Tim Hardaway Jr into a deal that would relief the team of the remaining years of their contract.

Courtney Lee has two more years remaining and cannot play basketball anymore. He celebrated after making a jumpshot a few weeks ago as if he had never made a jumpshot before and won some half time shooting contest for a brand new Kia.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is the worst player in the NBA.

If Scott Perry can move off of Courtney Lee, Enes Kanter AND Tim Hardaway Jr while simultaneously bringing back New York LEGEND, Zach Randolph, then I am all in on this front office and you will never see Knicks slander from me ever again.

So should the New York Knicks trade Enes Kanter for Zach Randolph?

[extremely Stephen A. Smith voice] What do you think?
