Redrafting the 2011 NBA Draft

3. Utah Jazz: Isaiah Thomas

John Stockton back. Isaiah Thomas would restore 90’s greatness to Salt Lake City. Just look at the way he’s restored Boston who was supposed to be in the middle of a rebuilding phase but Thomas carried the Celtics on his back and led them to the number one seed.

Although Isaiah originally was drafted last and Kyrie Irving was drafted first overall, I firmly believe that if the 2011 draft were to happen today, Isaiah Thomas would be selected first. As I’m writing this, Kyrie Irving is having a ridiculous playoff game and he’s murdering Isaiah’s Boston Celtics. This, this is irony, I suppose.
