Redrafting the 2011 NBA Draft

5. Toronto Raptors: Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson is the biggest question mark in the NBA. What would his career look like if he wasn’t in the same back court as Steph Curry. Obviously, having Curry next to him opens up more shots that he wouldn’t have if he was the lone star of the Toronto Raptors.

This past season, Thompson scored 60 points in 28 minutes. He dribbled the ball 12 times and didn’t play in the 4th quarter. Klay could be the most dynamic scorer we’ve ever seen but now he only gets the shots that Kevin Durant turns down.
