The Los Angeles Rams have easily had the best offseason in the NFL. Literally erasing the entire stink of the whole St. Louis era of this franchise. Nope, they were in Los Angeles this whole team and no one can tell them otherwise.
All signs are leading to the Los Angeles Rams going 16-0 and Jared Goff is going to be the face of these Monstars as they blow out every team they face next year.
Here are 4 reasons why Jared Goff will win the 2018 MVP Award
1. Best Defense in Football
On paper, this defense is going to MURDER opposing quarterbacks. Marcus Peters was acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs because he was an unpredictable maniac and Aqib Talib was traded from the Denver Broncos to give Michael Crabtree a break from getting his chained snatched. That’s instantly the best cornerback duo in the league.
LA Rams stats since 2014 (Aaron Donald’s rookie year)
Ndamukong Suh: 24 Sacks 154 tackles
Aaron Donald: 39 sacks 148 tackles
NFC West 2017 sacks allowed:
Arizona 52 (tied for 3rd most)
San Fran 43 (tied for 10th)
Seattle 43 (tied for 10th)#PrayForNFCWest

Yea, um, this defensive line is a problem. Aaron Donald could destroy an entire offensive line on his own. Enter Ndamukong Suh who will make it impossible to double team any of these guys and even if opposing teams add a tight end to block, with those corners playing man-to-man on the outside, there will be soooo many lanes for linebackers to blitz.
I say all of this to say that the defense is going to put Jared Goff in unbelievable field position. Every time he gets the ball he’s be starting like, in or close to the red zone. He’s going to be throwing lollipop touchdowns into the end zone nonstop.
