3. Scary Movie
Netflix is releasing a bunch of horror films in November, the day after Halloween, which is an insane move. How is Netflix still a thing? I feel like they only make bad decisions now. Let’s spend a bajillion dollars on original content that no one wants and give the people horror movies the month after people want to see horror movies.
I will say, Scary Movie is the finest of the scary movies. This movie is hilarious and it started Anna Faris’ 2000 run of being in like, 2 independent comedies per year. Every ‘college’ comedy had Anna Faris being the airhead character. You have to respect the work she put in the game and it all started with Scary Movie. Also, shout out Regina Hall. Just a thick cast top to bottom.
