This shouldn’t even be an article I have to write. This should be common knowledge but for whatever reason my Twitter mentions are still filled with nonsense so I want to make this declaration very clear so everyone can believe and understand it. The New York Giants are the best team in the NFC and no one can tell me otherwise.
On Sunday afternoon, the Giants dominated the Detroit Lions all day long as they went on to win 17-6. The Giants straight up embarrassed the Lions. All week long I kept hearing Matt Stafford MVP rumors. Laugh. Out. Loud.
Before I go any further, I’m aware the Dallas Cowboys have a better record at the moment. They’ve also lost two games to the New York football Giants. I don’t need to say that New York is better than Dallas. They’ve gone out and proved it on the field TWICE.
The Atlanta Falcons have never mattered in the postseason. Whether it’s Matt Ryan or Michael Vick, you can just disregard them starting December 1st. Remember when the big bad Minnesota Vikings couldn’t lose a game this season? Yea, neither do I.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but I’m not going to pretend like Jameis Winston didn’t steal crab legs. That happened. Never forget.
The only team that worries me is the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers is a maestro in the pocket and I won’t pretend like he isn’t the best quarterback I’ve ever watched since Elway. I mean, they’ve already beat the Giants this season so there’s cause for concern.
Having said that, the Packers might not even make the postseason. There is no team out there that makes me nervous. As long as the Seattle Seahawks continue to throw the ball at the 1-yard line, I’m not worried about them.
The New York Giants are the best team in the NFC and no one can tell me otherwise.
