The Milwaukee Bucks apparently have a big offer on the table to land their potential point guard of the future – unless he’s already heading to Boston.
Should the Cleveland Cavaliers renege on their deal with the Celtics, the Bucks are willing to surrender Malcolm Brogdon and Khris Middleton in exchange for Kyrie Irving, sources told ESPN’s Zach Lowe. Lowe added he expects Milwaukee to add a first-round pick if needed to complete a deal, or should Irving show interest in staying with the organization long term.
Kyrie Irving and Giannis Antentokounmpo wearing the same uniform next year? If this trade gets done then this will be the greatest NBA offseason of all time. This is a win/win trade for literally everyone. Well, I guess not for the Boston Celtics.
This would be a steal for both teams. The Bucks need a point guard that’s not named Matthew Dellavedova. Kyrie would propel the Bucks to the next level and they wouldn’t necessarily be losing much because Khris Middleton barely played last season and they almost upset the Toronto Raptors in the playoffs.
The Cavs get the Rookie of the Year, Malcolm Brogdon, which would be a huge win for them because they are getting reaaal old, real quick. Khris Middleton can shoot the lights out and can drop 20 points a night which would help after Irving leaves.
Buuut none of this matters because Kyrie Irving is going to the Boston Celtics.
