We can all spit out the kool aid that Lavar Ball and the Big Baller Brand was shoving down our throats. For whatever reason, we were all led to believe that LaMelo Ball was even better than his older brother Lonzo. After watching that fire mixtape, nooooooope.
Yes, Lamelo Ball is only 15-years old or whatever but wow did he look awful. I hate to be the old man screaming ‘kids these days’ but is this what basketball is now? Kids chucking up 3’s from half court and dribbling off their own feet? Damn you, Steph Curry.
Lonzo Ball is going to be a floor general in the Staples Center for the next decade. LaMelo Ball might have to walk on in order to play for UCLA because there’s no way they waste a scholarship on him after seeing him get stuffed in a locker playing AAU ball.
Pray for the Big Baller Brand.
