KHALIL MACK STRIP SACK ATTACK ? ? ?
— FanDuel (@FanDuel) September 18, 2018
Khalil Mack was traded from the Oakland Raiders to the Chicago Bears at the beginning of the season and signed a $141 extension with Chicago. That’s not nearly enough money for what Mack does for the Bears.
Chicago is 1-1 on the season after a 24-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football and they probably should be 2-0 if it weren’t for a dropped interception in the 4th quarter to stop Aaron Rodgers from Aaron Rodgers-ing.
So far on the season, Mack has 6 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, an interception and a touchdown. Khalil Mack has scored more touchdowns this season than Julio Jones
and Odell Beckham Jr.
But it’s not just his stats that make Mack a wrecking ball.
His sheer presence on the football field makes everyone around him better. Suddenly two offensive linemen are responsible for double-teaming Mack which open pass rushing lanes for Akiem Hicks and Roquon Smith up the middle.
Whenever the opposing quarterback drops back to throw the ball, they need to be mindful of where Khalil Mack is because chances are, Mack is behind them ready to strip the ball or worse, fold them into a pretzel.
Shout out to Jon Gruden for deciding that his ego was more important than actually winning games as the Raiders as a team have as many sacks as Mack does on his own and Mack didn’t even play in the second half against Green Bay. So in 6 quarters, Mack is better than the 11 guys the Raiders are throwing out there on defense.
Now, I know that Khalil Mack signed that massive deal but I’m saying it’s not massive enough. Did anyone predict that the Mitch Trubisky led Chicago Bears were going to be a powerhouse in the NFC? No. No one did.
Khalil Mack puts on a Chicago Bears jersey and all of a sudden not only are they a Super Bowl contender but they’re a must-watch team because you want to witness Mack hit a quarterback so hard that his soul leaves his body like when you lose a life playing Crash Bandicoot.
Pay Khalil Mack billions of dollars.
