James Harden is Now the Highest Paid Player in NBA History

“Since he arrived in Houston, James has exhibited the incredible work ethic, desire to win, and passion to be the best that has made him one of the most unique and talented superstars in the history of the game,” Rockets owner Leslie Alexander said in the team’s statement. “Additionally, the commitment he has shown to our organization, the City of Houston, and Rockets fans all over the world makes him a perfect leader in our pursuit of another championship.”

James Harden, the $228 million man. He is set to earn $28.3 million this season and $30.4 million the season after that. It’s safe to say that Harden will be able to buy whatever the fuck he wants for the rest of his life.

Does he deserve to be the highest paid player? Probably. He is the MVP runner-up last year averaging 29.1 points per game while still managing to lead the league in assists in his first full season playing the point guard position.

Once the Houston Rockets add Carmelo Anthony, they are going to score about 4,562 points every night and sweep the Warriors and Cavs out of the gym. Cannot wait.

Created Deadseriousness after being fired from every job I've ever had. One faithful night I drew the conclusion that if I was going to be unemployed, I might as well write articles that will guarantee I am un-hireable going forward. This website is the equivalent to a face tattoo.

E-mail to talk directly about all Deadseriousness related stuff or if you just want to talk about like, the Yankees or Marvel comics or whatever.
