Blake Griffin’s just gonna walk up and drill that three over Embiid. pic.twitter.com/ZpdVCQht9U

Blake Griffin is NOT playing around this season. He finally looks healthy and comfortable with moving from Los Angeles to Detroit. He has been given the keys to the Pistons offense and he looks unstoppable thus far this season.
The Detroit Pistons are 3-0 on the season and just battled the Philadelphia 76ers and beat them in overtime. If the Pistons are going to actually make moves in the Eastern Conference then they are going to need Blake to keep doing that pull-up 3-pointer that no one has realized that they need to defend yet.
You really have to give credit to new head coach, Dwane Casey, for tricking Reggie Jackson into giving up point guard and playcalling duties to Point Blake. The Pistons 4th quarter lineup had Reggie Jackson playing off ball and allowing Ish Smith to do most of the playmaking.
This is no small feat considering that Reggie Jackson was on a basketball team in Oklahoma City with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden but he genuinely believed he was the best player on the team.
Can the Detroit Pistons win the Eastern Conference?
If Blake Griffin scores 50 points a night? Possibly. If Blake has himself a Wilt Chamberlain-esque scoring season then pray for the Eastern Conference. Buuuut if Reggie Jackson does what I think Reggie Jackson is going to do then Blake might only get 4 shots of next game while Reggie tries to have his own 50 point game.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you think Blake Griffin might sneak off with an MVP trophy this year. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
