Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says his team has a policy requiring Dallas players to stand on the field for the national anthem regardless of any rules the NFL might adopt on the matter.
“I do think this recent effort by the league office and the players association to have discussions … is a worthy effort,” Jones said during a news conference Wednesday at the team’s training camp site in Oxnard, California. “And that’s what you’re seeing happen right now. But in general, I will speak for one, and everybody knows where we stand, and we stand as a team.”
“Our policy is that you stand at the anthem, toe on the line,” said Jones when asked if he would support a player staying in the locker room during the anthem.
With the NFL’s national anthem policy under review, Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones made it clear Thursday that his team won’t tolerate protests during “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
When asked if he believed Cowboys players would stand for the anthem in 2018 during an appearance on KTCK 96.7 FM, Jones responded: “If they want to be a Dallas Cowboy, yes.”
Zeke on the Cowboys’ anthem policy: “Us as a team, we chose to stand together for the anthem. It was our decision. I think it just shows our culture. It shows that we have unity. We’re going to stand as one. But we’re the Dallas Football Cowboys. We stand for the national anthem

Dak Prescott on the Cowboys saying if players protest they won’t play for the Cowboys: “I never protest. I never protest during the anthem and I don’t think that’s the time or the venue to do so.”

The Dallas Cowboys have spent all of their available media time this training camp riding Donald’s Trump tiny little dick as they are going out of their way to say that their team does not and will not acknowledge police brutality.
The NFL’s handling of the NFL protests has been slow, indecisive and pretty dismissive of the actual problem.
Roger Goodell seems like he’s terrified of Donald Trump and the right, who are using this issue as a political platform to rally their base while a majority of the NFL owners either want to make sure that they don’t lose money from their white fans or they straight up support Trump. Probably both actually.
Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys plantation owner, has his slaves well trained as his two star players are wearing white face whenever they’re asked about the protests.
“I never protest”. Yoooo, get Dak Prescott’s bitch ass ouuuuuut of here. What a pussy. That’s the quote from a man with zero integrity. He’s literally tap dancing like the WB frog with a top hat on and two long coattails hanging from his back.
Ezekiel Elliot seems like the type of guy who only goes on his phone to look at Instagram models. Not sure he even understands what the protests are about. All he cares about is getting easy rushing yards behind that Cowboys offensive line and beating chicks up.
You’re either dumb and you think that Colin Kaepernick was protesting against the troops or whatever, or you’re racist and don’t think there’s anything wrong with cops murdering black people. Ezekiel Elliot lands in the former.
There is nothing more frustrating than watching black people side with old white men over their own people. Jerry Jones came out and said these guys better have their toe on the line and these players are running to kiss his ring.
What’s even more infuriating is that over the last two years when kneeling during the anthem took place, zero Dallas Cowboys players have participated in the protests yet Jerry Jones continues to threaten these guys who are already quite comfortable on the plantation.
Fuck the Dallas Cowboys.
