According to Fox 11 News in Wisconsin, Mike McCarthy was involved in an incident at his stepson’s high school basketball game
The Pulaski School District confirms that the incident surrounded McCarthy and officials calling the game after Pulaski High School defeated Notre Dame Academy.
“McCarthy has been a regular face in the stands at Notre Dame Academy’s basketball games this season, however, his actions after the tight loss at Pulaski crossed a line, according to people at the game,” the report read.
McCarthy reportedly started to berate officials after his stepson and Notre Dame Academy lost by one point to Pulaski. Apparently, the actions of McCarthy were not on par with expectations of the school district.
“This parent chose to follow the officials and berate them, which is clearly unacceptable,” Pulaski Athletic director Janel Batten said. “Some things were said, some language was used that we don’t want in our gym, unsportsmanlike language.” (source)
For everyone who thought that Aaron Rodgers was the asshole in Green Bay that refused to listen and got his head coach fired, this story
Turns out, we’re dealing with a man that may have a bit of a temper issue that may manifest itself in an NFL locker room but without a doubt manifests itself at local high school basketball games to the point where he’s cursing at referees who get paid $100 a game and are also like, crossing guards in the morning.
I couldn’t understand why the New York Jets or really none of the NFL teams that had head coach vacancies, didn’t even seriously consider signing him.
He’s a sociopath.
Nine playoff appearances. One Super Bowl ring. One restraining order from the local courts forcing him 100 yards away from the high school like Roy Moore. Achievements.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you think Mike McCarthy is probably a sociopath. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Follow on Instagram so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
