In February of 2004, Kanye West, one of the best producers in rap, stepped up to the microphone and introduced himself to the world. The real life college dropout put all of his eggs in this one basket and the result was a classic album.

The first single, Through The Wire, sets the tone for what College Dropout is all about as Kanye literally survived a car crash and rapped with his jaw wired shut.
