Cleveland Cavaliers Want Carmelo Anthony Just Not For Kevin Love

The New York Knicks continue to pursue Kevin Love in advance of the Feb. 23 trade deadline despite the Cleveland Cavaliers’ unwillingness to part with the All-Star forward in a deal for Carmelo Anthony, according to league sources.

Sources said the Cavaliers, meanwhile, do maintain an interest in Anthony — which would pair him with Cleveland star and close friend LeBron James — but only if a deal can be struck without the league’s reigning champions surrendering Love.

At this point, I’d be completely okay with the Knicks trading Carmelo Anthony to any team for like, a social media intern. Of course, part of me is pissed that last season we could’ve traded Carmelo for Blake Griffin or Kevin Love and now this season, Carmelo has zero value to anyone.

To be honest, the Knicks do not need Kevin Love but still, can we stop respecting the GAWD. The man is averaging 23 points per game this season. It’s not as if he’s completely fallen off. It’s foolish to think that any team right now can beat the Warriors. Shake shit up. Trade for Carmelo.

I’m also just desperately trying to get this jab stepping asshole out of New York. Every morning I refresh my phone hoping to see that Carmelo was traded to the Grizzlies for like, one of Vince Carter’s old headbands.

Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you think the Knicks should trade Carmelo Anthony for literally anything. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
