My new favorite narrative heading into the 2018 Major League Baseball season is shitting on Shohei Ohtani for no reason other than the fact that he refused to sign with the New York Yankees because he is a coward and couldn’t take World Series expectations.
Watching ‘The next Babe Ruth’ strikeout looking is my favorite thing ever. I’ve watched that clip no less than 4,673 times. That was a statement strikeout. 1. Kershaw wants to make it very clear that he is a better pitcher than Ohtani. 2. Kershaw wants to make it very clear that he is the biggest star in Los Angeles. 3. Ohtani is a bitch.
Here’s what Kershaw had to say after the game:
“It’s a curveball, you know,” the three-time Cy Young winner told reporters after his outing. As for Ohtani, he said, “I could care less now. He didn’t pick us, so good luck to him.”
Clayton Kershaw cares not for your Ohtani propaganda. All he cares about is striking people out and shriveling into the fetal position during the playoffs. That’s all that matters to him. Call him when Shohei Ohtani is in his starting rotation. Otherwise, he’s busy.
“I don’t know her” -Clayton.
Can’t wait to see you fail, Shohei.
Thanks for reading. Tweet to @TheLesterLee if you are also actively rooting for Shohei Ohtani to fail. Also, go ahead and throw Deadseriousness a Like on Facebook so that I can keep the lights on around here at HQ.
