Chris Paul Interested in Signing With the Houston Rockets

The Los Angeles Clippers are growing increasingly concerned over the possibility that Chris Paul could leave in free agency, sources told Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Paul has been linked to the San Antonio Spurs, and will also speak with the Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets, one executive told Turner.

Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets would be absolute fire emoji. James Harden wilted in the final 6 quarters of the Rockets playoff run. Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs put Harden in a straitjacket and people questioned his leadership.

Imagine if the Rockets had Chris Paul there when Harden was being bundled. Whether you love or hate the way Mike D’Antoni’s team plays offense, it encourages ball movement and Chris Paul would get infinity assists tossing the ball around the perimeter to James Harden. Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon.

I’m not saying that Rockets team would defeat the defending champions but like, that Rockets team would defeat the defending champions. So. Many 3’s.
