The Giants went 11-5 last season en route to the playoffs, yet head coach Ben McAdoo isn’t stunned by an 0-4 start to 2017.
“I’m not surprised. I’m not shocked,” McAdoo said after Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News. “You can’t carry things over from one year to the next. We talked about that in the offseason.”

Sooo, here’s the problem with McAdoo statements. I don’t necessarily disagree with the notion that coming into the season, zero problems were addressed and the team entered 2017 with a faulty roster. That’s a fact. But BOOOOO at Ben McAdoo for knowing his team had flaws and developing zero game plans to hide their shortcomings.
It’s the head coaches job to identify the team’s strengths and weaknesses and to highlight the strengths and disguise their weaknesses. Ben McAdoo has done an amazing job of doing neither of those two things. That’s literally the minimum requirement of his job.
How is he still the head coach? After throwing Eli Manning under the bus a couple of weeks ago and now basically coming out and saying that he predicted the team would go winless, it’s absurd that this slick-haired r-word[1. retard.] is still on the sidelines.
