7 Things That Really Bothered Me About Star Wars: Rogue One

6. Video Game Style Objectives

All of the war scenes albeit realistic and intense, were filled with these weird video game style objectives that completely took me out of it whenever someone said “you have to find the master switch” or “we have to bring the shields down”.

Now, I’ve obviously never been in war and I’ve certainly never been in a star war but I feel like it’s way more chaotic and less tiny objective based. It was like a level of Call of Duty. A stupid level of Call of Duty. The type of level of Call of Duty that will make you quit singleplayer mode and go play online with your friends.

Created Deadseriousness after being fired from every job I've ever had. One faithful night I drew the conclusion that if I was going to be unemployed, I might as well write articles that will guarantee I am un-hireable going forward. This website is the equivalent to a face tattoo.

E-mail Lester@Deadseriousness.com to talk directly about all Deadseriousness related stuff or if you just want to talk about like, the Yankees or Marvel comics or whatever.
