7 Things That Really Bothered Me About Star Wars: Rogue One

Star Wars: Rogue One was the first of many Star Wars spin-offs that we will be seeing now that Disney owns the property. We will be beaten over the head with droids and blasters and Death Stars for literally the rest of human existence and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

I want to quickly say I liked Rogue One or whatever but here are 7 things that bothered me about Star Wars: Rogue One:

1. ‘Jyn’

Now, this isn’t the biggest problem with this movie but it was definitely the first thing I noticed and something I couldn’t stop noticing while it was happening. How do you pronounce this young lady’s name? From my understanding it was ‘Jin’. I suppose other characters took liberties and decided to call her ‘Jen’. So that was weird.

Again, not the biggest problem of Rogue One but I won’t pretend like that didn’t bother me. And no, it’s not as if one character had an accident and pronounced ‘Jin’ the best they could. It ws basically every character going back and forth between names. Perhaps this bothered me more than it should have. I can admit that.
