Two former All-Stars have already been traded this season and there are more to come. The benefits of the Golden State Warriors dominance is that teams are more willing to make wild blockbuster trades to stay competitive.
(If you’re trying to think of the other All-Star besides Jimmy Butler that got traded, yup you guessed it. Kyle Korver was an All-Star in 2015).
Here are 7 NBA All-Stars that will be traded before the deadline:
1. Goran Dragic
Goran Dragic made the All-Star last season because everyone else got hurt. Want to make that fact clear as to why he should be traded in Miami ever hope to be better than the 9th seed in the East year after year.
Dragic has missed a decent chunk of this season with a knee injury and all of his stats are down from last year including his shooting percentages and point per game. The Heat wanted to include him in a deal for Jimmy Butler but the Timberwolves had Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague so they didn’t need another point guard.
The Heat have passed the keys to Josh Richardson. Goran Dragic is out of there.
