The 7 Best TV Shows of 2016

2. Atlanta

Speaking of shows with entirely black casts, coming in HOT at the number two spot is my favorite new show of the year, Atlanta. This show was the perfect balance of comedy and just real life ‘drama’. It didn’t feel like a sitcom and it didn’t feel like an intense drama. Everything blended perfectly.

Sometimes I forget how great Donald Glover is at everything. In Atlanta he plays a struggling young father who wants to be the manager of a new up and coming rapper, Paperboy. The acting in this show is crazy good. It feels like you’re watching a documentary at some points. Shout out to Darius for being the weirdest character on television this year.

Created Deadseriousness after being fired from every job I've ever had. One faithful night I drew the conclusion that if I was going to be unemployed, I might as well write articles that will guarantee I am un-hireable going forward. This website is the equivalent to a face tattoo.
