Marvel’s Squirrel Girl is FINALLY Get Her Own TV Series

New Warriors revolves around about six young people with powers living and working together. With powers and abilities on the opposite end of the spectrum of The Avengers, the New Warriors want to make a difference in the world … even if the world isn’t ready. With Freeform focused on a group dubbed “becomers” — those experiencing a series of firsts in life including first loves and first jobs — New Warriors explores the journey into adulthood, except in this world, they’re not quite super and not yet heroes and the guys can be as terrifying as bad dates.

New Warriors is a Marvel team centered around the most important super hero of all time, Squirrel Girl. What are her powers? She’s a squirrel and she can talk to squirrels. No further questions necessary.

Do I need to sell you on this show any further. Outside of Agents of SHIELD, Marvel’s show have been pretty fire emoji (whatever you do, do not watch Iron Fist). I don’t know what Freeform’s relationship with Marvel will be as they are also producing a Cloak and Dagger series but I have faith that both shows will be good.

I mean, regardless of quality, I will be watching every week to see Squirrel Girl do anything and everything. Cannot wait.
